Over freshly ground coffee and organic pastries, your morning will be spent gaining a behind the scenes insight into how each Bamford collection is designed, showing you the initial design boards and sketches, as well as explaining how key pieces are made.
The Bamford look will be modelled, showcasing signature looks and giving guests the opportunity to try on sample pieces.
Then join the Daylesford team in THE COOKERY SCHOOL over lunch time to cook a series of delicious, seasonal dishes using organic produce from our Farm and Market Garden. Tutors will guide you through both demonstrations and hands-on cookery to create an imaginative seasonal menu, accompanied by a glass of two of wine from our sister estate, CHATEAU LEOUBE.
The afternoon will focus on the cashmere, the beating heart of each Bamford Collection. We will explore the difference between high street cashmere and artisan made, with examples of each before we hold a mini masterclass on how to care for cashmere properly. As the day comes to a close, with tea and homemade biscuits and cakes, we hope to have given a real insight into the workings of this family business which supports artisan, handmade luxury products.
