Marketing Manager

Bamford are looking for an experienced, highly motivated and results driven Marketing Manager to join the marketing team across all categories.

Purpose of the role

  • – To support and preserve the Bamford brand image.
  • – To increase awareness for Bamford through targeted marketing activities.
  • – To support the business objectives of the business.
  • – To work with the Web agency in the day to day running of the Bamford e-commerce site

Key Duties and responsibilities (not fully exhaustive but will focus on the most important areas of the role).

  • Support Director of Marketing & Comms to achieve marketing and communications objectives for the business.
  • Co-ordinating marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of annual marketing budget.
  • Support with the creation of marketing material in line with marketing plans.
  • Implementing promotional campaigns and consumer events.
  • Assist with the upkeep and delivery of monthly and annual marketing calendar.
  • Monitor and report on effectiveness of marketing communications and events.
  • Working closely with wider team to ensure timely communication of new product launches.
  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed of marketing activities.
  • Contribute creative, partnership and event ideas to marketing strategy.
  • Maintaining the marketing department’s databases and CRM data.
  • Upload marketing media to appropriate sites and social media.
  • Manage website content across bamford.co.uk
  • Upload new season collections, new product development and in-store events across all categories: clothing collections, bath & body, spa treatments.
  • Ensure the user experience of bamford.co.uk is effective and efficient, make suggestions of improvements.
  • Liaise with our digital agency to escalate any problems and work with ongoing projects

Create and analyse weekly sales reports

Requirements; Bachelor’s degree, proven marketing experience, understanding of the luxury market, strong sense of aesthetic and excellent communicator, team player, effective project management skills, understanding of web marketing

Marketing Intern

Bamford is looking for a forward thinking and enthusiastic intern to assist our marketing department.  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across social media, PR, marketing, ecommerce and events.  Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this is a paid internship and we are looking for an individual to start immediately.

Key Duties and responsibilities 

– Assist the marketing department with social media content creation and management.

– Collate press samples and liaise with our PR agency with product loans.

– Help organise in-store events and customer activation.

– Support with the creation and distribution of marketing collateral.

– Assist with ecommerce and daily website management.

– Coordinating with wider departments within the business.

– Support the marketing team with daily administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Educated to Degree level, strong work ethic and desire to learn, excellent communication skills and attention to detail, good computer skills, including EXCEL, Word and Outlook. A strong sense of the luxury market

This role is suitable for someone at the start of their career who is looking to gain valuable retail marketing experience for a luxury brand. The successful candidate will be working within a small hands-on team, meaning they will gain exposure to all areas of the marketing department.
