We love this detailed, yet delicate line drawing by our artist in residence and winner of the From Land to Craft competition, Ellie Williams. Throughout the Summer she is working with plants, fruits and wildflowers on the Daylesford Estate to create naturally dyed linens using the ancient Japanese technique of Shibori. Her unique and beautiful creations will be showcased in the Bamford Barn next month as part of the @daylesfordfarm Harvest Festival.

Our first artist in residence and winner of the From Land to Craft competition, Ellie Williams, has been busy creating pieces inspired by the flora and fauna of the Daylesford Estate. Using the ancient technique of Shibori, she has dyed linen fabrics with wildflowers and Summer fruits she has foraged from the Estate. Her finished pieces will be displayed in the Bamford Barn as part of the @daylesfordfarm Harvest Festival on 23rd September.
